basically my silly idea is that he and the other two coneheads are actually older seeker "models", and that seekers like Starscream are newer models because they are now a mass produced line-

Dirge does not like the idea of mass production- but decides to take in the young seekers and become their mentor cuz he feels bad and someone's gotta take them under their wing yknow yknow

he's shark themed and doesn't make sense transformation wise oops- He only recently became a Decepticon cuz yeah he stuff lore lore maybe next time

so yeah he's papa Dirge actually LMAOO

Design for dirge

Leader of slipstream's air warriors, this bot is not actually the Dirge famous for his service to slipstream, Dirgegun has gone missing and his sister Dirge is impersonating him to investigate his disappearance

Dirge is a creature that lives off of intimidation, although she's legitimately a formidable fighter, she holds her brother up in extremely high regard and now that she's pretending to be him, she wants people to see him the way she does, someone worthy of respect, every breath she takes is carefully measured to ensure it strikes as much fear as possible to as many people as possible,

Dirge and the other air warriors are natives of the colony world gigantion and got whipped into militaristic fervour alongside everybody else since the decepticons took control of the planet, thanks to Dirgegun's service, dirge never actually needed to work to support herself but she wanted to fight anyway, entirely out of admiration for the work,

her brother would tell her horror stories of his missions in the seeker military, possibly trying to dissuade her from enlisting using fear but that only made her more impressed, and determined to live up to his legacy (a legacy thay may have exaggerated in places.)

One day, after years of being forced to do anything except her one true dream, Dirge came home and Dirgegun wasn't there, she took a stasis nap expecting him to just be late and still he wasn't there, he wouldn't awnser her calls or see her messages.

So she went snooping around and discovered he was last seen going to shockwave's ship alongside the other air warriors to get the flight upgrade, intrigued, she impersonated her brother to hire the fastest ship she could get, one that regular people couldn't get, and made her way into the tidal wave without no one suspecting a thing.

Except of course those responsible for Dirgegun's disappearance, immediately thrown off but amused by the aperance of a second Dirge, she doesn't known who did it yet but she has a few suspects in mind.
